PrintBOS Applications

PrintBOS is implemented as the central solution for layout design, printing, faxing, e-mailing, archiving, barcode printing, cheque printing and secured printing in banks, insurance companies, Telcos and medium and large corporations.

Printing

PrintBOS is compatible with any printer that supports a Windows driver, network printers, heavy duty printers, iSeries virtual printers and LPR protocol printers. PrintBOS learns and incorporates the printer's special functions, such as collation, stapling, duplex printing and more.

e-mail

PrintBOS sends email via any MAPI/SMTP-compliant e-mail server. Formatted print jobs are sent as attachments in PDF. TIF, WMF, EMF, JPG or PCX, and users always know whether the mail has been delivered or not.

Fax

PrintBOS sends faxes through fax servers such as FCSys, ZetaFax, FAXport and WinFax Pro. Graphic elements, signature pages and cover page attachments are inserted automatically once the fax template has been created.

SMS

PrintBOS currently supports GSM and CDMA. Adaptation to other cellular formats is available.

Archiving

Print files are stored in the PrintBos archive in PDFM TIFF, WMT, EMF, BMP, PCX in a user-defined tree file archive. During document design, the user selects data fields, and names them, ensuring easy access. The Archive Server can be accessed using Internet Explorer, and has an advanced search capabilities, such as "contains", "less than", "greater than", "and" and "or".

PrintBOS is an ERP complimentary solution

PrintBOS decisively overcomes the printing and form design challenges of implementing lengthy, complicated projects supported by ERP.

Using PrintBOS for SAP, customers easily implement design and on-going changes for comprehensive output management. Moreover, PrintBOS supports different languages and fonts, even those not installed on the printer, and integrates with other enterprise software systems.

Compatible with RDI and RDI multi-data formats, PrintBOS recognizes and processes hierarchies.

SAP to barcode transformation is easily implemented, for either electronic or hardcopy output. As with every PrintBOS feature, there are virtually no limitations, bar-coded forms can be printed even on printers that do not support barcode output.
