Adiv Baruch, President and CEO of BOS, commented that, "In order to continue implementing our strategy, we went through an intensive process to identify a global company with local presence who will have all the available resources required to continue investing and growing the PrintBOS business faster than with the resources that could have been allocated by BOScom for this purpose. Key factors for the transaction were to keep the existing team of employees and the existing distributors for customer satisfaction thus creating a smooth continuation of the product line. Finalizing the transaction with Consist was based on the mutual vision both companies had throughout the process."
More about the acquisition you can find in BOS corporate site.

Electronic Signature Workflow Solution by PrintBOS
Pelephone, a leading Israeli cellular operator with over two million subscribers had a PrintBOS platform installed over two years ago, and was now seeking a solution for digitally archiving signed customer account transactions.
All information regarding transactions and account activities come from a 3rd party client billing application (AMDOCS), which sends raw data for PrintBOS designed forms.
PrintBOS Server processes the raw data with Pelephone's template and outputs a PDF document for signature.
The customer service representative at the Pelephone branch receives the PDF document and hands it to the customer for signing. The document's hard copy is signed on an OCR device (light pen with pad) and the customer gets the original copy.
PrintBOS now receives a bitmap image of the signature, and
combines it with the electronic PDF document. The final signed PDF document is then electronically sealed and archived by PrintBOS on a 3rd party archive system.
Archiving electronically signed documents saves Pelephone the need for complex paperwork, as well as the need to archive hard copies of each document signed.
Moving to e-world, Pelephone allows for faster processes and a highly available data.
